Full Job Description Job Title:
Registered Nurse Overview:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at The Institute for Advanced Reconstruction (part of The Plastic Surgery Center). In this role, you will play a vital part in providing quality care to our patients, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes. Join a team that's dedicated to helping people look and feel their best. You'll be an integral part of a patient's journey, providing support and care to those undergoing lymphedema treatment, facial reconstruction, breast reconstruction, and other transformative procedures. Witnessing the incredible results firsthand will be incredibly rewarding.

Location:
Bergen, Essex and Monmouth Counties Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations and health history reviews. Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and medical assessments. Coordinate pre-operative testing and imaging Manage surgical drains, perform wound care, and monitor for post-op infections. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician's assistants, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care. Monitor patient response to interventions, assessing for improvements or complications. Educate and support patients and families about surgical procedures and recovery. Educate patients and families about their conditions and self-care measures. Provide emotional support and advocacy for patients and their families. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes. Facilitate communication between patients and the healthcare team. Stay up-to-date on current nursing practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
ACLS, PALS, BLS
required Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare team. Ability to travel (travel reimbursement policy)
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay Range:
$39-$45.50 an hour the starting rate within this range for this role varies depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
