Registered Nurse, HL - Full-time Night 7p - 7a, ED Residency, Atlantic Health Hackettstown Medical Center

Are you passionate about emergency medicine? Is your goal to be an Emergency Department Nurse? The aim of this program is to support the novice RN to transition into the role of an ED nurse. The Emergency Nurse Residency Program is available throughout the Atlantic Health System and the job description of positions may vary from site to site. Non BSN graduates will be required to complete their BSN within 5 years of employment. All participants are asked to agree to a 2-year employment commitment at AHS.

Essential Job Functions:

Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values in every aspect of their job Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills Ideal candidate: Recent graduate who has passed RN license and/or RN with < 1 year of experience BSN preferred but not required Strong interest in becoming an Emergency Nurse Residency is expected to begin in September 2026. Candidate must have license in hand prior to the start of the program. The Atlantic Health System PEACE Program is supported by the U.S. Department of Labor. A total of $2,785, 263 or 83 percent of the Atlantic Health System PEACE program is financed with Federal funds and $557,053 or 17 percent is funded by other sources.
