Key Qualifications:
Valid RN license Minimum of 2 years' recent CVOR experience BLS and ACLS certification required Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and best practices Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced operating room environment Familiarity with electronic health records and surgical instrumentation
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver expert perioperative nursing care to patients throughout cardiovascular surgical procedures Coordinate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and infection control standards Provide patient and family education and emotional support Meticulously document all care and interventions according to protocols Support continuous improvement efforts in surgical safety and patient care
