Our mission is to alleviate pain and symptoms; foster a state of calmness and harmony; and encourage an appreciation of family, friends, and life experiences. Serenity Hospice is looking to add an organized and detail-orientated Registered Nurse to oversee back-office workflow through Serenity's EMR system as well as oversee general electronic documentation. This position reports to the Clinical Care Director. This position is in office M-F 7:30A-3:30P Enter data and documentation into EMR. Manage backflow of submissions into system. Review documentations and records for accuracy. Audit system periodically, report findings to Director. Keep up to date on Medical Terminology and coding for billing. Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Current NJ RN License in good standing At least two years of Hospice experience required Homecare Homebase experience a plus Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Must have reliable transportation with liability insurance Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Have working knowledge of medical terminology and coding. Must be able to work independently as well as within the interdisciplinary team.
