Required:
Must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
Successful completion of all Orientation Programs Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing Certifications and Licenses Required:
Active NJ RN License or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement
Basic Life Support BLS from the American Heart Association Scheduling Requirements:
Full-Time
Night Shift
37.5 hours weekly
12.5 hr shifts
Every other weekend is required
Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs Essential Functions:
The Registered Nurse RN organizes and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care
Supports the philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing
Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies
Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning
Participates in unit Performance Improvement evaluation activities Other Duties:
