Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care across diverse medical settings. In this energetic role, you will utilize your clinical expertise to assess, plan, and implement nursing care that promotes health, recovery, and well-being. Duties Perform comprehensive patient care assessments and evaluate patient health status using advanced physiology knowledge and medical terminology. Experience in home care, ability to administer medication, IV infusions, and perform venipuncture with precision while adhering to aseptic techniques and HIPAA regulations. Monitor vital signs, manage airway and ventilator support, and provide acute pain management for diverse patient populations. Conduct diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing, ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases), and utilizing EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation. Create plan of care for the patient with ADLs and IADLs and guide CHHA through the care plans. Educate patients and families on health coaching, medication administration, nutrition, and disease management including infectious disease care and hospice & palliative medicine. Requirements Valid nursing license with current registration; experience in critical care settings such as Level I or Level II trauma centers is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in emergency medicine, hospital medicine, or outpatient clinics with familiarity in ICD-10 coding and CPT coding for procedures. Proven ability to work with individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities; experience in geriatrics or memory care is a plus. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; strong medical documentation skills are essential. Hands-on experience with IV insertion, phlebotomy, specimen collection/processing, and sterile processing techniques. Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and advanced patient assessment skills. Excellent communication skills to effectively triage patients in urgent care or emergency room settings; ability to work efficiently under pressure in acute care environments.
