Job Summary and Essential Functions:
Determines the suitability of whole blood and apheresis blood component donors and patients according to established standards, Collection of HPCs-Stem Cells including immune effector cells, whole blood, and therapeutic products from suitable donors and patients using automated and non-automated procedures, Performs clinical apheresis and photopheresis procedures, Possesses knowledge of blood collection theory and practice in order to diagnose, educate and treat donor, patient, and responses to actual or potential problems, Performs medical screening of stem cell donors, whole blood donors, and patients, Handles patient and blood donor reactions, Some travel within the state required, Travel within the state required for patient procedures and or as medical historian at mobile blood drives,
Job Requirements:
Bachelors in Nursing with NJ RN License, Current CPR certification required, 1-2 years experience with Clinical Apheresis preferred,
Schedule:
