The APN in the Hematology/Oncology Practice utilizes critical judgment in the performance of comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis and the prescribing of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments in the direct management of patients diagnosed with a variety of hematologic or oncologic diseases. The APN practice will promote wellness through conducting research, providing education and works autonomously as well as in interdisciplinary teams as resources and consultants. The role promotes patient wellness through: Conducting and contributing to research Providing patient and staff education What You'll Bring Current Registered/Professional Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Jersey is required Completion of a Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited NP/APN program Eligible for national certification as an NP/APN through an approved certifying body Demonstrated skills in: Interpersonal communication Effective verbal and written communication Creative problem-solving Minimum of two (2) years of clinical nursing experience required Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Hematology/Oncology experience preferred Preferred certifications: Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) / ONCC Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate Radiation Therapy Certificate Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) Participation in professional and/or specialty organizations preferred Compensation In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the salary range for this position is US/07

The expected salary range for this position is in accordance with the New Jersey Pay Transparency Law; final compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
