Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students and staff as an RN specializing in school nursing! This contract opportunity is ideal for a compassionate registered nurse who thrives in educational environments and is ready to provide expert healthcare services to the school community. What you'll need to succeed:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Previous experience in a school setting highly preferred
- Familiarity with individualized healthcare plans (IHPs) and emergency care protocols
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently, yet collaboratively with teachers, counselors, and administrators
- Skilled at providing care for students with both chronic and acute health needs
- Passion for health education and preventative care for children and adolescents In this key role, you can expect to:
- Assess, triage, and address student health concerns throughout the school day
- Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures per physician directives
