Qualifications:
Current and valid RN licensure BLS and ACLS certifications Previous Cath Lab nursing experience strongly preferred Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills Ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
Desired Experience:
Experience assisting with electrophysiology and interventional cardiology procedures Familiarity with conscious sedation protocols and post-procedure patient monitoring Competence in managing emergencies related to cardiac events
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct, expert nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures Carefully monitor patients' vitals and condition pre-, intra-, and post-procedure Collaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and ancillary staff Maintain precise procedural documentation and uphold safety standards Educate patients and families regarding procedures and aftercare
