Job Overview:

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated RN in our ED Crisis Unit at Community Medical Center. Community Medical Center, is a 592-bed, fully accredited acute care hospital offering area residents world-class medical treatment with the comforts of hometown care. Qualifications:

Required:

RN Degree NJ RN License

BLS, ACLS, PALS

(American Heart Association) At least one year

Current ED and or Behavioral Health Experience Preferred:

BSN Certification Scheduling Requirements :

Day Shift 7a-7:30p

Essential Functions:

The RN is an intricate part of the ED Screening Team assisting in caring for patients in Crisis in a Locked Unit. Team consists of Psychiatrist, RN, MHA & MH Screener Administers and notes reactions to psychotropic drugs and other medications Assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and patients Assists the client in understanding the nature of emotional disturbances and accepting the need for treatment
