  • 07:30 AM Job Summary The NICU Registered Nurse (RN) provides specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns in a neonatal intensive care setting.
The RN is responsible for patient assessment, treatment implementation, medication administration, family education, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary care team. The ideal candidate will have NICU experience, strong neonatal assessment skills, and the ability to thrive in a high-acuity critical care environment. Required Qualifications Active New Jersey RN License or Compact RN License. Current AHA BLS Certification. Current AHA NRP Certification. Minimum 1 year of recent NICU experience. Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) required. Strong neonatal assessment and critical care skills. Ability to float to Pediatrics and PICU as needed. Excellent communication and patient-focused care skills. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients. Monitor and assess critically ill newborns. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Assist with neonatal resuscitation and ventilator support. Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and healthcare teams. Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation. Educate and support families throughout the care process. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
