Job Description

Job Summary:
At Aydan Nursing, we are currently seeking a compassionate RN to provide reliable care to patients across South Jersey. We have openings in Cumberland County, Gloucester, Atlantic, and Salem. We are offering 10 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The position requires nurses to travel to multiple locations to deliver patient care.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Observes patients, charting and reporting changes in conditions such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment and takes necessary actions. Measures and records patients' vital signs such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration. Provides basic patient care or treatments such as taking temperatures or blood pressures. Works as part of a health care team to assess patient needs and implement interventions. Evaluates nursing intervention outcomes, conferring with other health care team members. Records food and fluid intake and output. G-tube knowledge with feeding and medications. Suction patient as needed. Help with ROM as needed. Apply cough vest daily.
Required Skills/Abilities:
General knowledge of nursing and health care terminology. Excellent patient care skills. Gastrostomy tube acknowledgement
Education and Experience:
Postsecondary certificate from vocational school or Associate's degree in nursing required. Current state licensure required
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. May require prolonged periods of standing, moving and bending. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
