Job Description
The Endoscopy Center at Voorhees has multiple GI endoscopy procedure rooms with state-of-the art safety and diagnostic equipment. We are confident that patients will find The Endo Center at Voorhees to be a very pleasant, safe and convenient alternative to hospital-based endoscopy. Our procedures include colonoscopies, flexible sigmoidoscopies, peripheral nerve evaluations, and upper endoscopies. We are currently searching for a Full Time Registered Nurse to work weekdays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced setting. Major responsibilities include but not limited to: preparing patients for procedures; assisting physicians during procedures; providing care for patients in recovery; and actively participating in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities. Current BLS and ACLS certification is required. Endoscopy, PACU or outpatient experience is preferred. Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, and be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Must have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, and have at least two years of registered nurse experience.
