The Inpatient Dialysis RN will provide the dialysis treatment and care to the dialysis patient in the hospital setting. For nurses without prior dialysis nursing experience, there will be a three-month orientation including classroom training and precepting on the dialysis unit. Qualifications:
Current and valid Nursing License in the State of New Jersey is required BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire Required 2+years of recent dialysis experience Acute care experience preferred Must be willing to learn pediatric dialysis Knowledge of Fresenius equipment, portable RO and ACES documentation preferred BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers, an exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care based on a strong sense of patient focus are all required.
