Optimum and Southwest Women's Oncology are seeking a dedicated and driven Infusion Nurse to join our high-performance team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Who We Are Optimum and Southwest Women's Oncology are two sides of the same coin, precision performance and profound compassion. At Optimum, we help people become the best versions of themselves, combining cutting-edge medical science, biohacking, aesthetics, and human potential into a single ecosystem of vitality. At SWWO, we help women triumph over gynecologic illness through skill, courage, and heart. Together, we're building something rare: a culture where clinical excellence meets human flourishing — where our team thrives as much as our patients and clients do. Who You Are You are a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse who thrives in a patient-centered clinical environment. You bring a strong foundation in infusion therapy and are confident in delivering safe, high-quality care while supporting patients through complex treatment journeys. You balance clinical precision with empathy, ensuring patients feel informed, supported, and cared for at every step. You are calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and collaborative, working closely with physicians and the broader care team to deliver seamless treatment experiences. What You'll Do Infusion & Clinical Care Administer infusion therapies, including chemotherapy and other medications, as prescribed. Monitor patients during treatments and respond promptly to adverse reactions or complications. Perform patient assessments, including vital signs and treatment readiness evaluations. Ensure proper handling, preparation, and administration of medications in accordance with clinical protocols and safety standards. Patient Education & Support Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, potential side effects, and post-treatment care. Provide emotional support and reassurance throughout the patient journey. Reinforce care instructions and ensure patient understanding and compliance. Care Coordination Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated patient care. Support scheduling and flow of infusion appointments to optimize patient experience. Communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient status and treatment updates. Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient records in EMR systems. Ensure all care aligns with clinical, regulatory, and safety standards. Follow infection control protocols and medication administration guidelines. Continuous Improvement Stay current with best practices in infusion therapy and oncology care. Participate in team huddles, training, and process improvement initiatives. Contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous learning. What You Bring Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New Mexico. 1-3+ years of nursing experience in infusion. Experience with IV therapy and infusion treatments. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. High level of professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. Preferred /
