Travel Registered Nurse- Med Surg or ICU (3 days or 4 days a week)

Provide comprehensive or emergent nursing care to adult and geriatric patients . Manage patient care ensuring safety, comfort, and high-quality outcomes. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy. Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assess patient responses to treatment. Document all care accurately using Epic EMR (must have experience within the last 6 months). Educate patients and families on discharge plans, recovery goals, and medication management. Float to units of equal or lesser acuity as needed to support patient care demands. Provide compassionate, evidence-based care in alignment with facility policies and professional nursing standards.

Schedule & Coverage Shift:

3x12 or 4x12-hour

Night Shifts Weekends:

Required as scheduled

Requirements Experience:

Minimum 2 years of inpatient Medical/Surgical or ICU nursing experience (required)

Certifications:

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) - required

EMR:

Epic Epic experience within the last 6 months - required

Licensure:

Active and unencumbered RN license in the state of New Mexico (or compact state license)

$1,900.00 - $2,200.00 per week
