Nurse Practitioner Place of Performance :

Artesia, NM A-Team Solutions is seeking Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for a full time position, for the VA clinic in Artesia, NM. Hours 8am-4:30pm

Monday-Friday Job Duties:

• Prescribe medication, examine patients, diagnose illnesses and provide treatment
• Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests
• Gather health histories, perform physical examinations and diagnostic procedures
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Dictate and document all patient interactions
• Notify managing physician about unusual or unexpected events or problems
• Effectively communicate with diverse populations, including physicians, employees, patients, and families

Requirements:

A current license in at least one (1) state, territory, or commonwealth in the U.S. or the District of Columbia. Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) by an American Health Association Vendor. Current certification in Advanced and Basic Life Support (ACLS/BLS). A minimum of one (1) year direct patient care experience within the last three (3) years. VA experience is desirable.
