This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through direct resident care, clinical leadership, and collaboration within a skilled nursing environment. As a Nurse, you will provide hands-on nursing care, supervise and support team members, and play a critical role in monitoring resident health and ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care. You will work closely with physicians, therapists, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to promote positive clinical outcomes and enhance the overall well-being of our residents. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans, physician orders, and established clinical standards Perform ongoing assessments of resident conditions, identifying changes and implementing appropriate nursing interventions Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures safely and accurately within scope of practice Collaborate with physicians, therapy staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity and quality of care Provide education and guidance to residents and families regarding care plans, medications, treatments, and health management Supervise, delegate, and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other nursing team members Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system Participate in infection prevention, quality assurance, resident safety, and performance improvement initiatives Respond appropriately to changes in resident condition and emergency situations using sound clinical judgment Ensure compliance with facility policies, professional standards, resident rights, and applicable federal and state regulations Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff while promoting a positive team environment Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current, active Nurse (RN or LPN) license in good standing in the State of New Mexico Current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Previous skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or post-acute care experience preferred Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality, resident-centered care across varying levels of acuity Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and decision-making skills Proven ability to lead, supervise, and support nursing staff Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment Commitment to clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and positive resident outcomes Benefits Competitive pay $2,500 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Nurses 401(k) Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Care Cash Program Referral Bonus Program Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Grow With Us At Luna Rehabilitation & Care Center, we are committed to developing our team members. Pay:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
