The RN will provide safe, high-quality patient care throughout the pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery process while collaborating with physicians, anesthesia providers, and the surgical team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive pre-operative patient assessments. Monitor and care for patients in the PACU and recovery phases. Provide patient education regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions. Communicate patient status and abnormal findings to physicians and anesthesia providers. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and nursing best practices. Assist with patient flow, supplies, and overall clinical operations as needed. Requirements Current RN license in the state of practice. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification. Current 2-Step TB test/documentation. Minimum of one (1) year of perioperative, pre-operative, PACU, or surgical nursing experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
