The RN will provide safe, high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures, ensuring optimal recovery and patient outcomes. Responsibilities Monitor and assess patients during the post-anesthesia recovery phase. Identify and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition. Administer medications and treatments as ordered. Provide post-operative education and discharge instructions to patients and caregivers. Communicate patient status and recovery progress to physicians and anesthesia providers. Maintain accurate and timely documentation. Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and nursing best practices. Support patient flow and assist with overall clinical operations as needed. Requirements Current RN license in the state of practice. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification. Current 2-Step TB test/documentation. Minimum of one (1) year of perioperative, post-operative, PACU, or surgical nursing experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
