Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) to support the Ambulatory Care Department in Shiprock, NM. The RN will provide patient care services, assist with staffing needs, and provide coverage during absences and emergency situations. This position is ideal for an experienced RN who can adapt to changing schedules and provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities Provide professional nursing services within the Ambulatory Care Department. Provide backup staffing support and coverage for scheduled and unexpected absences. Assess patients, monitor health status, and document clinical findings. Perform nursing assessments, obtain vital signs, and evaluate patient needs. Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders. Assist with patient education, care coordination, and follow-up needs. Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Respond appropriately to urgent patient care needs and emergencies. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation. Follow established clinical policies, procedures, and safety standards. Qualifications Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license. Previous RN experience required. Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Position Overview This role provides an opportunity to support ambulatory healthcare services while ensuring continuity of care through reliable nursing coverage and high-quality patient support.
Pay:
$40.00 - $47.00 per hour
