Schedule/Hours:
Orientation begins weekly on
Mondays Qualifications:
Active, unencumbered RN license (NM or compact state) Current BLS, ACLS, and any other certifications required for submission Must be at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler Previous Operating Room experience preferred New Mexico state clinical fingerprinting and background check required prior to start (compliance process instructions provided) Compliance with New Mexico state health department onboarding protocols
Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in the operating room for patients before, during, and after surgery Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to hospital policies and procedures Contribute to patient education and support surgical team communication Maintain a sterile and safe environment throughout procedures
