•3.8 Boulder City, NV Job Details Per diem $53.25 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications RN License Computer literacy BLS Certification ACLS Certification Full Job Description Per Diem RN Circulator Boulder City Hospital•Boulder City, NV Position Summary Boulder City Hospital is seeking an experienced and patient-focused Per Diem RN Circulator to join our Surgical Services team. The RN Circulator is responsible for providing direct, individualized nursing care to surgical patients throughout the perioperative process while ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in accordance with hospital policies, physician orders, and established nursing standards. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care. Coordinate and manage patient care throughout the perioperative experience. Ensure proper patient identification, surgical site verification, and adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and surgical procedures. Assist with maintaining equipment, supplies, and readiness of the operating room. Uphold infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory compliance standards. Participate in quality improvement activities and departmental initiatives. Serve as a resource and mentor to other healthcare team members as needed. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Education & Licensure Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Current Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification. Required Experience Minimum of one (1) year recent Operating Room circulating experience preferred. Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and surgical procedures. Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills. Strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Basic computer proficiency and electronic medical record experience. Ability to prioritize and adapt in a dynamic healthcare environment. Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork. Ability to safely manage exposure to blood, body fluids, and other hazardous materials. Physical Requirements Prolonged standing and walking throughout surgical procedures. Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, and positioning of patients and equipment. Manual dexterity required for patient care and surgical support activities.
