Job Description

Job Summary The Fallon Tribal Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing care and support to patients in an outpatient clinical setting. The RN will work collaboratively with providers and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality patient care, coordinate services, promote health education, and support quality improvement initiatives that improve health outcomes for Tribal community members.
Additional Compensation & Incentives Healthcare Professional Sign-On Bonus:
$10,000

$5,000 after Years 1, 2, and 5
Relocation Assistance:
Up to $7,500 for eligible relocation expenses Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments, obtain health histories, and perform nursing evaluations. Provide telephone triage and determine the urgency of patient care needs. Coordinate patient care, referrals, follow-up appointments, and continuity of care. Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, disease management, and home care instructions. Assist providers with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and allergy treatments as ordered. Provide emergency care and first aid in accordance with Health Center protocols. Perform laboratory procedures, venipuncture, EKGs, and other diagnostic testing. Maintain accurate documentation and utilize electronic health record systems effectively. Participate in quality improvement and infection prevention activities. Manage employee health programs, including immunization tracking, health screenings, and annual vaccination clinics. Coordinate community and employee wellness screenings and health promotion activities. Supervise Medical Assistants and other assigned staff. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program required. Current Nevada Registered Nurse license in good standing. Minimum of three (3) years of professional nursing experience. Outpatient and high-volume clinic experience preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications within six (6) months of hire. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of professional nursing standards, patient assessment, and clinical care practices. Strong understanding of acute and chronic disease management. Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Experience with electronic health records and healthcare documentation. Strong communication, organizational, and patient education skills. Ability to operate clinical and diagnostic equipment. Knowledge of medications, therapeutic treatments, and patient care protocols.
Pay:
$41.79 - $49.90 per hour
