Job Description

Registered Nurse - PACU - PRN Mesa View Regional Hospital is your community medical provider, serving the Mesquite community and its residents with a full range of inpatient and outpatient care; diagnostic imaging; and emergency, medical and surgical care. 1 (one) 12-hour shift per week
Hourly Rate:
$37.80 - $47.25 (based on experience)
Job Summary:
The PACU Staff Nurse uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate highest quality nursing care. As a patient advocate, he/she coordinates the care of the patient through collaboration and appropriate delegation. The Nurse provides age-specific care and teaching to selected patient population(s). Monitors and recognizes changes in physiologic status, takes appropriate action based on assessment, and evaluates and documents finding and patient response. Interacts frequently with all patient service departments; utilizes interdisciplinary input to plan, implement and evaluate care. All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Associates Degree required. BSN preferred. Two (2) years of previous PACU Nursing experience preferred. Current RN licensure in the state of Nevada. Current BLS required.
PALS, ACLS
required. All Certifications must be held through AHA or ARC. Education Required Associates or better in Nursing Licenses & Certifications Required
