The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in internal medicine and infectious disease care, with the ability to provide comprehensive patient assessments and care in an inpatient hospital setting. This role requires proficiency in medical imaging, infection control, and the management of medical records. As an APRN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality healthcare services while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines. Perform advanced nursing procedures such as gastric lavage and other necessary interventions. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Monitor patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately to any complications or emergencies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients under your care. Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention, and treatment options. Adhere to infection control protocols to minimize the risk of hospital-acquired infections. Qualifications Master's degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited program. Current state licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse. Strong knowledge of internal medicine practices, infectious disease care, and hospital protocols. Experience with medical imaging techniques is preferred. Proficiency in managing medical records and documentation practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
