2 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Telemetry position in Northern Nevada, requiring 2+ years of acute care Med/Tele experience and an active NV RN license. Details 13-week contract position in an acute care hospital setting Medical/Surgical Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (36 hrs/week) Telemetry patient population Requirements Active NV RN license required (no pending licenses accepted) Current certifications required (AHA only): BLS, ACLS, and
NIHSS CPI
certification required for this position Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification mandated Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program Minimum 2 years of full-time Med/Surg Tele experience in an acute care setting within a US hospital US Social Security Number required Date of birth required for consideration Two manager or supervisor references preferred, verifying experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer Additional Information Performs initial and ongoing patient assessments, including full review of systems, with appropriate documentation Delivers age-appropriate, competent care to patients across the lifespan Completes admission assessments within facility-established timeframes per policy and procedure Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessments required by the facility Certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
