Job Description

Join the Operating Room team at our Executive Woods Ambulatory Surgery Center, where you'll be part of a dedicated group of professionals committed to excellence in patient care. You'll work alongside experienced surgeons and a supportive team, gaining valuable experience and enhancing your skills in orthopedic surgery. If you're passionate about making a difference and working with a collaborative, high-performing team, OrthoNY is the place for you! Pay is based off of years of experience. Monday-Friday 7am-3pm; No weekends, holidays, or on-call. General Description The Operating Room RN will assist in providing high quality care during the pre-op and intra-op phase of the patient's visit. Responsibilities Assist in the organization and daily function of the operating room; Plan, implement, and assist in the oversight of patient care; Circulate and scrub cases, as assigned; Accurately document care given according to center policies and procedures; Maintain high safety standards for both patients and other staff; Monitor stock levels, supplies, and equipment needs; Other responsibilities as needed/assigned. Qualifications Current unrestricted NYS RN License; BCLS required;
ACLS/PALS
preferred; Minimum one year as an OR nurse, two or more years preferred with scrub and circulating experience; Ability to effectively communicate with providers, patients, and peers; Other Information Ability to travel to various OrthoNY locations if needed. Reliable transportation is essential. #eop
