1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Coronary Care Unit (CCU) night shift position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and Epic EMR proficiency. Details Night shift position in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) of an acute care hospital Shift hours: 7:00 PM- 7:30 AM Cardiac ICU experience preferred; MICU experience will also be considered Epic EMR experience is required Every other weekend required Rotating holiday coverage required Block scheduling cannot be accommodated 13-week contract Requirements Active NY RN license required at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required, issued by AHA or RQI Epic EMR experience required US Social Security Number required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Flu vaccination required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal or religious declinations will not be accepted Additional Information Candidates must reside outside the following counties to be eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington A competency test must be completed within 24 hours of consideration; the test will be sent to the candidate's email address on file ICU competency test requires a passing score within 2 attempts Navy blue scrubs required Requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of consideration More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week contract period may result in contract termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out Travel pairs are not allowed for this position
