Qualifications and Experience:

Active RN license in good standing Prior experience as a school nurse or in pediatric care settings Ability to assess and respond to a variety of student health concerns Excellent communication and documentation skills Positive attitude, adaptability, and a collaborative approach Current CPR/BLS certification

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering direct nursing care to students, including medication administration and first aid Monitoring and following up on chronic health conditions and specialized care plans Assessing student injuries or illnesses and making appropriate recommendations for care Maintaining accurate health records and medication logs in accordance with school policy Responding swiftly in emergency situations, using sound clinical judgment Liaising with teachers, parents, and administrators to support students' overall health Promoting safe and healthy practices within the school setting This position offers meaningful work during the ESY session, with the opportunity to make a real difference in students' lives.
