School Registered Nurse

1:1 School RN - Bay Shore, NY - Full Time US Medical Staffing is hiring a 1:1 school RN to support a student in the Bay Shore area. Strong preference for nurses who live locally, since the family communicates with the nurse early each morning. Schedule Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 3:30pm during the school year. Potential to continue through the summer with an Extended School Year (ESY) program. What we're looking for Active NYS RN license in good standing Experience providing 1:1 nursing care in a school setting preferred Comfortable supporting a student with frequent seizure activity Physically able to assist a student during a seizure event Reliable, dependable, and able to be reached in the early morning Why work with us 4-hour minimum guarantee if the shift is cancelled within 2 hours of start 4-hour minimum guarantee if the student arrives late Consistent 1:1 assignment, same student every day Weekly pay Supportive office team that backs you up About US Medical Staffing We're a locally owned Long Island agency that places nurses and allied health professionals in school districts across Nassau and Suffolk County.
