Job Description

Greater Binghamton Health Center (GBHC), a Joint Commission accredited Office of Mental Health (OMH) facility, has immediate opportunities for Registered Nurses (RNs) on all shifts. No previous psychiatric experience is required. Nurses at GBHC are vital members of a multi-disciplinary team focused on providing compassionate care through patient-centered and recovery-focused mental health services to individuals with serious mental illness, including: Coordinating and providing nursing care Conducting nursing assessments Preparing, implementing, and modifying nursing care plans Providing health teaching, counseling, and education to individuals and families Implementing infection control protocols and procedures Observing and recording individuals' symptoms and care; reporting responses to medications or changes in health About
GBHC GBHC
provides an integrated network of inpatient and outpatient services for adults and children living in New York's Southern Tier through evidence based, person-centered treatment and recovery-oriented programs to help individuals in need of mental health services lead fulfilling lives in the community. GBHC's inpatient services include 96 beds for adults and 13 beds for children and adolescents. Additional services include Outpatient Clinics, Recovery and Vocational Services, Residential Transitional Living, Family Care, Adolescent Day Treatment, a Mobile Integration Team, an Adolescent Crisis Residence, and an OnTrackNY program.
Minimum Qualifications:
Registered Nurse 1 Psychiatric NYS License and current registration to practice as a professional nurse. $96,147.00 - $105,138.00 per year
