13-hour rotating Day/Evening/Night shifts, including on-call/callback responsibilities, weekends, and holidays based on unit needs Position Overview Alerion Healthcare is seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join a highly collaborative Pediatric Critical Care team in Rochester, NY. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialized care within the Pediatric Cardiac Care Center while also supporting patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and pediatric sedation services as needed. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and demonstrate strong clinical expertise, critical thinking skills, and compassionate patient and family-centered care. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive clinical evaluation and management of critically ill pediatric patients Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans Perform advanced clinical procedures within scope of practice Collaborate closely with pediatric intensivists, cardiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds and care coordination activities Manage both acute and chronic pediatric conditions in critical care settings Support and educate patients' families through complex medical situations with empathy and clear communication Contribute to the education and mentorship of APP students, residents, and fellows Participate in quality improvement initiatives, committee work, and hospital-based projects

QualificationsRequired:

Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license in good standing Current national certification as a

Nurse Practitioner Preferred:
