Job Description:

Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice. Demonstrates the ability to work independently and exhibits flexibility in decision making and prioritizing. Prescribing, delegating and coordinating nursing care provided to patients. Provide patient education & coordinate the activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining the standards of professional nursing practice. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age and diagnosis of the patient.

Qualifications/Education:

NYS license as a Registered Professional Nurse required Graduate of approved school of nursing required; BSN preferred or desire to complete Current BLS required 2-5 years of medical-surgical nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred

Position Pay Range:

$38.00-50.00/hour
