Travel Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses specializing in Neuro Critical Care to join an Adult Neuro ICU team. This role requires strong clinical expertise in high-acuity settings, with the ability to provide quality patient care with minimal supervision. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, Level 1 trauma environment.Schedule Requirements:
Night shift Must work every other weekend Holiday coverage required as needed Fixed schedules and extended time-off requests may not be accommodatedKey Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in a Neuro Critical Care/ICU setting. Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans. Monitor critically ill patients, including neurological status and vital functions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records systems. Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergency situations.Required Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (within the last 2 years). At least 1 year of Neuro ICU experience. Experience working in hospitals of similar size and acuity (Level 1 trauma preferred). Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records. Experience in Level 1 trauma centers. Emergency Department (ED) experience.Additional Requirements:
Must have a clean professional license history (no suspensions or investigations). Must not have been involved in professional liability claims. Authorization to work in the United States required. Successful completion of pre-employment health screening, drug testing, and background check.Required Skills:
