Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license Expertise in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing Familiarity with surgical procedures, sterile technique, and patient monitoring Ability to collaborate effectively in high-pressure situations BLS and ACLS certifications (required or willingness to obtain prior to start) Prior travel nursing experience is a plus, but not mandatory

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments Ensure optimal patient care by adhering to CVOR protocols and safety standards Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams throughout procedures Educate patients and their families on care plans and recovery steps
