This contract role runs from July 6, 2026, to August 14, 2026, coinciding with a summer session schedule. You may serve on a one-to-one basis with medically fragile students—administering tube feedings and medications—or support students with multiple disabilities in a classroom environment, providing critical healthcare services such as medication administration and nebulizer treatments.

Qualifications:

Current, valid New York State RN or LPN license Previous experience in school nursing or caring for medically fragile children strongly preferred Skilled in medication administration, tube feedings, and use of nebulizers Ability to maintain documentation per school policy and healthcare standards Warm, professional demeanor with a commitment to student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-to-one medical support for students with complex health needs Administer medications, enteral feedings, and respiratory treatments during school hours Collaborate closely with educators, families, and health staff to advocate for student safety Foster safe, inclusive, and healthy learning spaces Respond to minor injuries and emergencies with composure and efficiency
