Registered Nurse - Catheterization Lab

Key Qualifications:

Active RN license, with good standing Recent experience in a Cath Lab setting required Proficient in monitoring, IV insertion, administration of cardiac medications, and patient assessment Ability to interpret EKGs and respond appropriately in emergency situations Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care to Cath Lab patients Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and status, identifying and managing adverse reactions or complications promptly Document procedures, interventions, and patient responses in compliance with standards and regulations Educate patients and families regarding procedures, post-procedure care, and cardiac health Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes Maintain and ensure readiness of Cath Lab equipment and supplies
