POSITION

Substitute Registered Nurse, Per Diem HOURS:

High/Middle School, 7:30 am - 2:30 pm Cayuga Heights Elementary, 8:10 am - 3:30 pm A candidate for a substitute registered nurse position must provide proof of valid NYS RN nursing license, AED and CPR training and must be fingerprinted per the New York State Education Department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages and assesses student health and the need for emergency medication administration Provides direct care to students Promotes a healthy school environment Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work as a member of a team Diligent record keeping skills Provides liaison services between school personnel, family and health care professionals Maintains student confidentiality and adheres to

FERPA/HIPPA

regulations Performs related duties as required or assigned by administration Materials to be submitted on-line include: resume, RN license and proof of AED and CPR Training. Applications will not be considered unless all required materials are submitted.
