We are currently seeking a talented Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a cardiology background to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals in our East Syracuse, NY office. Our clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8-4:30 with NO evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Position Responsibilities Include:

Perform comprehensive medical examinations Acquire and review patient histories identifying abnormal conditions Issue appropriate prescriptions and administer medications Inform physicians about any problems or discrepancies that may arise Monitor patients' progress and keep records of treatments, surgeries and other medical events Prepare patients for examinations and conduct routine procedures Provide therapeutic treatments (disinfecting wounds, stitching etc.) Attend to emergencies Cardiac Stress Testing Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for the patients Comply strictly with medical care regulations and safety standards Collaborate effectively with team members of various specializations Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities

Requirements/Qualifications:

Candidates must be board certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant and possess or be eligible to obtain an applicable New York State license Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2-years of experience in a cardiology setting Knowledge of medical guidelines and procedures regarding examinations, therapy, and recovery Must possess excellent communication and leadership skills while demonstrating the ability to work as part of a team Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task Caring and compassionate

Annual Salary:

$95,000- $125,000 with productivity incentive This position requires travel to our Watertown, NY office up to twice a week. Mileage reimbursement applies. Be part of something big.
