Overtime Rate:
$51.00/hr We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Elmira, NY. The nurse will provide care to both inpatient and outpatient GI/Endoscopy patients and assist with endoscopic procedures in a fast-paced procedural setting. Candidates with dedicated Endoscopy experience are highly preferred. OR Nurses with Endoscopy training and experience will also be considered. Responsibilities Provide pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure nursing care Monitor patients undergoing GI and Endoscopy procedures Administer medications and sedation per protocol Assess, educate, and prepare patients for procedures Maintain accurate documentation and patient records Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care Job Requirements Active New York State RN License BLS Certification Required ACLS Certification Required Endoscopy Experience Preferred OR Experience with Endoscopy Training Accepted Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills Ability to work with both inpatient and outpatient populations Additional Information Day shift schedule: 06:30 AM•03:00 PM On-call requirement typically once per week and every 6th weekend Opportunity to work with both inpatient and outpatient GI patients
