Job Summary Are you a Registered Dietitian passionate about clinical nutrition and collaborating on patient care? A beautiful, established nursing home that is part of a nice-sized group is seeking a dedicated Dietitian to join our team. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Dietitian to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing personalized care plans, and providing expert guidance to promote optimal health outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nutrition and dietetics, with experience in acute care, long-term care, and geriatrics. Your expertise will support diverse patient populations by delivering comprehensive nutritional assessments, implementing dietary interventions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care. About Us Our facility is a beautiful, modern nursing home with over 250 beds, known for clinical excellence and compassionate care. We are part of a larger, established healthcare group that provides strong resources and support. Our dietary team is collaborative and dedicated to providing individualized, high-quality nutritional care to every resident. Key Responsibilities Conduct timely and thorough nutritional assessments for residents, identifying nutritional risks and appropriate interventions. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement, and monitor resident care plans. Provide dietary counseling and education to residents and their families regarding therapeutic diets and nutritional goals. Assist the Head Dietitian in charting, auditing, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations (CMS). Monitor resident food intake, weight status, and laboratory values to evaluate the effectiveness of nutritional interventions. Participate in facility meetings, including Care Plan conferences and Quality Assurance initiatives. Qualifications & Experience Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential is required. A Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field is highly preferred. A minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting. Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets, dysphagia management, and regulatory guidelines (MDS 3.0 related to nutrition). Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. #3
What We Offer Competitive Salary:
A base salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with your experience.
