Job Description
Shift:
Monday -Friday | 8:00 AM â 5:00 PMPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion Nurse to provide specialized care to patients receiving chemotherapy and other infusion treatments.The ideal candidate will have strong clinical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver compassionate patient care in an outpatient setting.
ResponsibilitiesAdminister chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion treatments in accordance with oncology protocolsMonitor patients before, during, and after infusion treatments for adverse reactions and side effectsAssess patient condition and review treatment plans prior to administrationEnsure safe handling, preparation, and disposal of chemotherapy agentsProvide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, side effects, and self-careAccurately document patient care and treatment details in the systemCollaborate with oncologists and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient careMaintain compliance with clinical safety standards and infection control protocolsRespond promptly to emergency situations or infusion-related complicationsSupport clinic workflow and assist with additional clinical duties as neededRequired QualificationsExperience in Oncology Chemotherapy Infusion (required)Active nursing license (RN/LPN as applicable per role requirement)Strong clinical and patient care skills
