Registered Nurse (RN) - Psychiatric /
OPWDD Focus Location:
Fishkill, NY Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm |
On-Call:
1 weekend/month
Salary:
$107,000 annually
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced RN with psychiatric and OPWDD expertise to provide clinical care and medical oversight for adults with complex medical, psychiatric, and developmental needs. This role emphasizes collaboration with psychiatric consultants and clinical teams to manage care, medications, and health education within CTI and TRS programs. Registered Nurse (RN)
Responsibilities:
Perform health assessments and monitor residents' medical and psychiatric needs Oversee medication administration and ensure safe practices Collaborate with Consultant Psychiatrist and interdisciplinary clinical teams Provide health education and guidance to staff and residents Respond to medical emergencies with follow-up care coordination Registered Nurse (RN)
Requirements:
Active RN license in NYS Minimum 3 years of experience in psychiatric care and/or working with individuals with developmental disabilities (OPWDD experience preferred) Strong skills in clinical assessment, care coordination, and medication management Ability to travel between program locations as needed
