Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN) - Fort Drum, New York

Qualifications:

Active, unencumbered RN license Proven experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications Strong assessment, critical thinking, and triage skills Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare teams Capable of remaining calm under pressure and handling multiple priorities Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive assessments of patients presenting to the ER Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide life-saving interventions as needed Prioritize care for multiple patients with varying acuity Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans Provide clear communication and emotional support to patients and families Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient status and care provided Comply with infection control protocols, safety regulations, and facility policies
