Job Description

OVERVIEW
New York Health Care Inc. a licensed home care agency (LHCSA) in business for over 40 years is seeking an experienced registered nurses (RN) for a full-time field position. Successful candidates will perform client visits and assessments throughout NYC with a general concentration in Bronx and may extend to some areas of Manhattan or Westchester.
Responsibilities to include:
Perform home care nursing visits (patient assessments and aide supervisions) to our patients throughout the community Ensure compliance and proper documentation and maintenance of clinical records Perform
HHA / PCA
training classes as per DOH guidelines on an as needed basis in the office Ensure compliance of agency with respect to governing bodies such as Department of Health and JCAHO clinical standards Ensure HHA / PCA's are properly orientated and supervised in the field
Requirements:
Valid New York State RN license BSN Preferred 1 or more year of home health care experience Bilingual in Spanish/English encouraged to apply Compensation Excellent salary commensurate with experience PTO, travel, medical / dental benefits
