Job Description

Education/Experience Minimum Required:
Bachelors degree in nursing and 5 years health care experience Oncology experience required
Preferred:
Conditionspecific experience in either/both inpatient or outpatient setting(s).
License/Certification Minimum Required:
NYS Registered Nurse license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or obtained within 6 months of employment) Valid NYS drivers license
Preferred:
PA Registered Nurse license Nurse Navigation Certification Work Environment Work may be performed in an office and/or hospital environment that requires working in proximity to other employees and patients. The office is air conditioned as well as heated. Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants. Fastpaced environment including frequent interruptions. Frequent walking, standing and bending. Mobility may include access through a multilevel facility, including climbing stairs. PPE Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, Gloves per UHS Infection Control and CDC guidelines when appropriate. Work may also be performed in the community setting, to include, but not limited to, patient homes, health fairs, and conference/meeting settings Transportation within the community to various settings with personal vehicle required; mileage reimbursed Age of Patients Served All Age Groups HIPAA RolesBased Access to Patient Information All Access to patient information, including restricted information Level 4
