Special Education has an anticipated vacancy for a registered nurse. Employment locations include combined positions between Fort Plain and Canajoharie and Gloversville and Mayfield. These positions include smaller overall numbers than a typical school district with the potential of students having more unique medical needs. We are looking for a kind, compassionate individual who values working collaboratively with other professionals and families to create a safe and healthy school experience for all students. Qualifications:

Certification Valid NYS Certification as a Registered Nurse Civil Service Applicants must reside in Hamilton, Fulton or Montgomery Counties in order to be considered. TEACH Clearance Per Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, to be employed in a position designated by a school district or BOCES as involving direct contact with students, a clearance for employment from the State Education Department is required. Formal job offer/selection is contingent on candidate's ability to obtain a fingerprint security clearance through the TEACH system prior to working.
