Qualifications and Experience:
Active RN license in good standing, with eligibility to practice in New York State At least one year of recent experience in a medical-surgical (MS) setting Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred) Excellent assessment, documentation, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments Strong critical thinking and time management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on a medical-surgical floor Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patients' conditions Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed Coordinate with physicians, allied health staff, and patient families to ensure optimal care Accurately document interventions and outcomes in electronic health records Foster a positive, compassionate environment for patients and colleagues
